Chambray Dress

Dress: c/o Journey Five - Shoes: Target (similar)
It feels so good to be back at it. Back at outfit posts that is! I feel bad that I have slacked so bad on my blog lately and really want to step up my game. If you notice my Instagram is @lifestylebymariah. I did that because my Instagram really is more lifestyle. I post about my kids, my family and just life in general. My blog has kind of turned into that and that  is why it is Fashion & lifestyle by Mariah. I love fashion for my self, my kids and my husband but that isn't realistically what I do all the time. You won't always see a picture of what I wore because sometimes it is so basic that I don't think it is "blog worthy". That will change! I used to think that if I didn't have a matching bag or jewelry then I couldn't post the outfit. Well honestly I don't always wear jewelry. Most days I am nursing or burping my baby and a necklace would get in the way and as you most know I am always carrying a diaper bag, not a fancy purse. So this is me. This is what I wear, this is what my family wears! I hope you enjoy. As for this dress. I love it, and to be honest I thought it would be so unflattering and an uncomfortable material. It isn't that at all. The material is light weight and perfect for Summer and Fall. I can't wait to pair this dress with some booties and a cardigan when we transition into Fall. I hope you all have a good week! We are heading to California tomorrow morning bright and early for an 8 day vacation. I am so excited to spend so much time together with my little family of 4! Follow along on Instagram @lifestylebymariah.

  2. I have this same dress in the lighter blue and white stripe - I'm actually wearing it today! I love the way you styled it. The shoes are perfect! Don't feel bad about taking a break from blogging, I took a six month break after my daughter was born. My outfits were all about function and hard to get excited about - much less blog about! After I came back to work - and had a reason to get dressed up again - I got back to it. In the meantime, I look forward to seeing your Instagram posts. :)
