If you have been following my blog for a while you know that I am a huge football fan! My dad has been a head football coach my whole life and I love football. Growing up and even now after football games my mom hosts football parties. Of course they are more fun after a win but they are still fun to gather and of course eat a lot of food!
One of my favorite things to do as a kid and even now as crazy as it sounds is watch a big game. Weather it is a rivalry or even just a good game it is great to be together with friends and family eating yummy snacks! You could say my husband lucked out marrying a girl that will spend her weekend watching football games but I would say I was lucky to be raised the way I did learning how to host and have a good time enjoying a good football game. So today I want to share what I have on my snack stadium that are easy go to items when hosting a game day party as well as a recipe. Here are the items that I usually get for treats and drinks:
SNICKERS® Minis 40oz.
Skittles® XL 41 oz.
Pepsi™ 12 oz. 12 pack
You can't go wrong with any of those items. I will usually add some ice water in a pitcher and make some sort of a bean dip. Here is my shopping list when I am heading to Walmart before hosting a party with the items shown in the picture:
TOSTITOS® Scoops
TOSTITOS® Original
TOSTITOS® Chunky Salsa
Avocados
Tomatoes
Sour Cream

LAYERD BEAN DIP RECIPE:
Cheese
Jalapeños
Ground Cumin
Refried Beans
Note that this recipe doesn't really have measurements. I just taste it when I am done to see what needs to be added.

Open a full can of refried beans and put them into a pan on medium on the stove.

Add 1/4 cup of milk, ground cumin (to taste) and about 10 diced jalapeños. This completes the bean layer, just set that aside to cool.

SNACK STADIUM
Then I just buy the guacamole because I have found that the store bought kind spreads better and isn't as chunky as just making guacamole. I start by doing a layer of the bean dip, then a layer of the guacamole. This recipe is something that is customizable and  you can do as many layers of this as you want. Of course since it is football season and this a treat that is normally made for football parties I took my cake decorating bags and added some little lines to make my dip look like a football field. I then took some unused sucker sticks to make goal posts. I surrounded the dip with some TOSTITOS® Scoops to make the perfect snack stadium!

Just like that you are game day ready! Here is my set up with all the snack stadium, treats and drinks! What else would you add? You can find more recipes HERE.

Also, make sure before you are hosting a party to write a to do list so you don't get distracted like I do and end up heading to Walmart 3 times in one day. I blame it all on pregnancy brain! I found all these items down the candy and chips isle. The soda I found down the soda isle.
