Positive Living

Last night was quite the night. I was hurrying home from the gym to do a conference call with a company I am going to be working with on the side (I will tell you about it soon) and as I was running up the stairs of my apartment and got to the top my phone fell out of my pocket.. and the screen shattered! Like so bad that the screen is black now and I can't see anything. Also, if I run my finger over the screen glass comes off. Yeah so it was pretty much the worst! I am so mad. So here I am with my husbands old phone that I have no idea how to work. It is terrible. And I missed the conference call. Yay Mariah! :( Good news is, I have insurance and only have to pay $90 to get a new phone!
But there are worse things in life that is what I always have to remind myself. My sweet grandma starts chemo today and those words just stab me in the chest! I worry for her, I know she is strong but I hate it. Cancer sucks! How can I ever have a bad day when people are going through things that are much worse than me? Honestly I can't. I remind myself of that often and I think all of you should too! I love positive people and I hope I can try as hard as I can to always see the positive side of things! :)

And for some health/fitness tips..
The only way you will see results is if you change how you eat. I feel like the biggest hypocrite giving advise on what to eat because lets be honest I have a sweet tooth!
*Stay hydrated. Carry around a water bottle and keep track of how much you drink!
*I know this might be really hard for some people but I have seen results from this. Stop drinking soda I stopped last January! I love soda but it is so bad for you, why do you want to drink your calories? I sure don't! I substitute by drinking Crystal Light or water. :) It is possible. I promise!
*So many girls are scared to lift weights because they don't want to get big arms. I LOVE lifting weights. It is probably one of my favorite things to do at the gym. But I never lift more than 5lb or 10lb dumbbells on each arm. I see results and yes it burns. Just do more reps to feel the burn. And remember when it is burning that is when it is working, so don't stop when it is burning!

That is all I have for you today! :) Thank you all so much for following! Let me know if you have any questions at all.
XOXO
